Coordinate the procurement of materials, tools, equipment, and services to support new product introduction and transfer projects. This role issues RFQs and purchase orders, manages engineering changes, PPAPs, SAP data, and standard cost updates, and works closely with project teams and suppliers to ensure timely delivery, quality, and cost targets are met. The buyer also expedites parts, resolves invoice and quality issues, supports continuous cost improvement, and collaborates with the broader procurement team as needed.

Analyzes specifications, lays out metal stock, sets up and operates machine tools, and fits and assembles parts to fabricate, repair, and support metalworking dies, molds, cutting tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and related production equipment.
